Kate is an ANCC Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner passionate about connecting with patients, and dedicated to the delivery of high-quality, compassionate, and comprehensive mental health services to patients of all ages. With over 20 years of experience working in the field, her diverse background includes roles across multiple settings- community, residential, acute child, adult and geriatric inpatient psychiatric units, and outpatient psychiatry at an academic hospital.

Throughout her career, Kate has shown a natural ability to build rapport with patients and families. She combines evidence-based guidelines with first-hand clinical experience, personal observation and intuition to provide holistic care, offering genuine warmth, empathy, and encouragement. Kate values open, straightforward communication, and welcomes feedback as this enhances her abilities as a dedicated ally for her patients.
